Solve : backup drive?

I'm going to BUY a HARD drive for BACKUPS I have a hp computer which has a pocket for a personal drive but I have read that they PRODUCE a lot of heat.

And if often cheaper and holds more memory.

Also, the point of a backup is so that, if the laptop is damaged or lost, you have the backup at home.As long as your file are safe, you have cause to smile, coz you've your time and EXCESS spending:)Indeed......
