Solve : Bad keyboard oddities? |
|
Answer» I had a keyboard go out and before I changed it some nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn showed up on my switch USER screen after the Turn Off button. The performance of my computer does not SEEM to be affected but I would like to get rid of them. It sounds like a regedit job but I am not sure where to go and REMOVE them. Thanks for your helpQuote some nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn showed up??Sorry for being cryptic... here is a screen shot http://dennishinds.com/screenshot/screenshot.jpg of the n's behind the Turn Off button. It is just repeating nnnnn after the button. I guess the n key got stuck when the key board went out.Pretty weird....did you try System Restore? In don't use Sys Restore because it bogged down my system too much. I KEEP it turned off. I never could get it to restore when I needed it anyway. It is weird and I suspect that it is something that HAPPENED during a keyboard wire cross when the wire to my keyboard had a hole worn in it under my desk. Who knows what could have happened but I thought some of you comp gurus knew how to delete them.Have you inspected the area where a hole was worn in the keyboard wire's insulation?Well, System Restore is one of the basic repair tool.... |
