Solve : Bad SCSI Disk Drive?

Answer»

When I start this machine up I get CDmROM CDUm4q5 in the post. Does this mean that the CD Drive has failed or something not configured right. Its a HP Netserver LH II that I want to setup to backup log files.I saw your other post on that -->>> site, but maybe you didn't see this one: https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/184566-faulty-disk-drivesGood evening Ryuk

Here is a manual for your unit http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/lpn11737/lpn11737.pdf on page 13 tells you about the ind lights.

More than likely you may have a bad drive are you getting any error messages during boot up / pre OS

Hopefully this helps you, PLEASE LET us know if you have another question. Mike

It did help me with know some of the SETTINGS. However, it still shows the same message in the POST. Other then it wont boot off the disk like it had an that message no. This is Netware 4.11
