Solve : Bad Video Card, MB or PSU?? |
|
Answer» All of the sudden, while doing whatever, sometimes after 20 min, sometimes after 4 hours, my VIDEO output will fail. The monitor light goes from green to yellow, and I get a "no signal". Upon reboot, it WORKS fine. I'm currently trouble shooting each card with "BurnInTest", switching around PCI-E slots ect. The cards are not old at all..... less than a year. I have An ASUS P6Tv2 and 2xHD5850 Visiontek with a 1200W PSU. Anyone run into this before? Could it hopefully, worst case SCENARIO, SIMPLY be a bad PSU? Quote from: pcjoseph1974 on April 29, 2011, 05:22:52 AM ...1. You have more than 1 video card? 2. There are other threads on this forum. 3. Very unlikely. Each card runs fine on its own in different slots. I have 3x PCI-E and am running 2xhd5850. Ive run BurnInTest for 12 hours each per card and had no errors. Maybe its just bad connections I hope.... |
