Answer» hi, I need renaming and moving file to other directory with SUFFIX of date and time. this is what i TRIED for /f "TOKENS=1-5 delims=:" OR "tokens=1-5 delims=/ " %%d in ("%time%") %%d in ("%date%") do rename "E:\LogUpdate\CtRddmMavenRDR.meta" "CtRddmMavenRDR"%%e-%%f-%%g-%%d-%%e.meta but not workingI have never seen that "tokens=" OR "tokens=" thing before. Where did you GET that? Also that weird way you are trying to run two loops at the same time, did you invent that yourself? hi, i have never USED batch command before but i found these two loops working fine individually but my need is to get both date and time as suffix to file name. pls help me out thanks in advance
