Solve : bd-r problems?

Answer»

i went and bought a SONY accucore bd-r, but my sony vaio vgn-ar730e laptop isn't even recognizing it as a disc. so, i tried burning some files on a cd and it worked fine. so my question is why is my sony computer not reading sony discs? drivers are up to date. That's because those are BLUE-Ray discs...and can only be read by a Blue-Ray player.it has blue ray, that's why i'm asking. What app are you trying to burn blu-ray's with ? ?stivo, are you putting blank bd-rs into your laptop Bluray ROM and DVD+/-RW drive? If so, what do you expect to happen?
i'm USING nero7, and yes it's a blank bd-r, i need it to back up a game, which according to nero requires a bd-r. i was thinking maybe the PROGRAM, but my computer isn't recognizing it as being a disc at all. i had trouble with some accucore cd-r's too AWHILE back. It appears to be a Blu-Ray reader not a Blu-Ray writer.
