Solve : Beeping gone....but now? |

Answer» I have an issue with my Inspiron 530. This MORNING I turned on my computer and it wouldn't boot up. Instead I get a series of 4 beeps. The BLUE light is solid. After reading several postings, the majority said it was a memory problem. So I opened up the box, took both memory strips out, and reinserted them. I CLOSED the box and turned on my computer. I got excited because the beeps were gone, BUT now I have another problem. When I turn the computer on it would turn off. After a second time, it would stay on but the screen remains black. The fan is also blowing hard. So I CONCLUDED that the video card MAY need replaced. Can anyone offer any suggestions on how to correct this problem? I would really appreciate it. Take care. |
