Answer» Getting things ready to replace a MainBoard and NEED to replant the CPU from old MB to NEW. I understand that the type of paste is important. Which brand(s) are SAFE to use? Additionally, do I need just rubbing alcohol to clean up the CPU before I replant it?I use Coolermaster.Arctic Silver. Instruction Sheet.I like Arctic Cooling MX-2, and OCZ Freeze (bought the first because the second was out of stock, then bought the second because the first was out of stock). Both WORK great for me, nice and cheap too.
