Answer» Hey all I'm new, name is Ed. I am getting $500 rebate check and want to buy the Alienware of the tablet market, is it still the Transformer Prime??? I'm in USA and can get the 32GB model at Newegg or Amazon for $499.00 is it still the hotshot on the block. I'm talking total performance, for gaming and whatever else floats on by. I get this check each year and SPEND it totally for SOMETHING fun I want without a second thought.
I'm thinking 32GB Prime and get the matching keyboard dock down the road a short distance. I currently own an Acer Iconia A500 that just updated to 4.0 ICS and has trouble displaying any current GO themes which I sorta like to play around with. I'm Disabled/Retired Drummer and this is for FUN with a capital "F". Gray or Champagne color?? anybody see them yet that can comment?? Thanks folks!! Sorry ED. An Alienware tablet is not now in the top of the heap. But can you wait a bit? This year they should have something you will really like.
What OS do you want? Apple Microsoft (The new Alienware tablet will be Windows Android
For the same money you can get a very nice Apple tablet. I'm trying not to get involved with itunes unless I have to- ipod touch in my case. The closed aspect of ios and itunes bugs me, I can get around Android fairly well so Android would be my choice. I have seen some Windows Tablets around the price range I'll be in but Windows on a Tablet just does not sound like a spiffy machine to me....LOL....am I wrong??
I'm looking at the new Asus TF300 with the same SPECS pretty much as a prime but less expensive.......??Here is a link to a comparison price only on your stated device. It says that a price of $360.00 is the lowest. However on examining the 2 pages of offers the lowest i saw was $370.00.If you dig a little into the site you can get hundreds of client reviews on it as well. http://www.google.com/products/catalog?q=Transformer+Prime&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:unofficial&client=seamonkey-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=12129049663989539776&os=sellers&sa=X&ei=OwjFT9GFBpLuggek7ZDvDg&ved=0CIIBEP0IMAM#start=25 truenorthThank you...I wish I knew who some of the sellers were with the low prices. I never heard of any of those so I'll probably stick with Newegg or Amazon...any others good sellers out there That is a new question. Now it is your turn to do some work. Google and find: Best Online Retailers for Customer Satisfaction Cosme back here and report what you find. If you do well I will click your 'thank you' button.
I got it now....Karma! OK I'm on the right track with Amazon, here is a link to an ARTICLE about: Best Online Retailers for Customer Satisfaction that our friend Geek-9pm pretty much laid in my lap, Thank you GeeK!!!, I also have Netflix whose rating went down 14% over the last year.

I use Amazon & Newegg more than other less well known ones. If I find the same thing somewhere else for less money, I sometimes give them a try instead.eclein, Good work. I gave you a thank you.
