Hi! I am planning to build a PC and I am starting to look for PARTS. I need to know which Video Card is the best for me. I will tell you what I will USE it for:

* Movie Making
* Image Production
I may also do more advanced tasks which will require advanced graphics.

You can tell if I should use a video card or stick with Onboard Graphics. I am not a gamer so don't suggest a expensive card. ATI or nVidia is OK. Make sure it is a card with a rating of 4 stars or higher. I can also take a DirectX 9 or DirectX 10 Card as long as it is PCI-Express 16x.I'd try taking a look on newegg. Here's one I found that has a 5 egg rating:

It's pci-express 16x, and it looks to have more than enough power for your needs.

However, a lot of what you need depends on exactly how much movie making and image production you'll be doing.

For instance, if you're using windows movie maker and paint shop pro, you could be fine with a mid-range card.
