Solve : Bios Clearing? |
|
Answer» I have an Elements 603TCFR mobo with a Celeron 370 processor. I changed the case so all components were removed and reinstalled. to clear the old password, I followed the exact instructions in the manual by unpowering, removing the battery for 10 min then relocating the clear BIOS jumber. When I put the jumper BACK to "normal" and powered up, nothing happened. I reset all CPU frequency jumpers to default, nothing happened. I disconnected all hardware except keyboard, mouse and monitor, no change. HOWEVER, if I keep the clear bios jumper in the "clear bios" position, the processor fan comes on and stays on without further action. No POST, no beeps, no video, no error...nothing...just the processor fan GOING. The bios is Award Bios with 2MBit FLASH ROM. Can you help please.Dr Wahab...please help.
