Answer» the pc of my mother takes 3 minuts to boot tro the bios/ cmos til its checking from where to boot the os from. I cant see were it hang on becous all i see is the penium screen.
I have 2 questions: 1. do you have any idees what the problum can be? 2. how can i turn the pentium screen of so that i can see where the problum might be?
i have run sevaral programs to tjek the HARDWARE but they don't find ennyting wrong.

ps Sorry for my englisch.There should be a setting in the BIOS somewhere that allows you to disable the "SPLASH screen". These splash screens are a stupid idea and whoever dreamt them up should be taken out and summarily shot! I'll have a new look i the bios to quit the splash screen. and HOPE i can see were the problum is.

I have a bios update but WAND to wait with it till there are no adder options.
