Solve : Bios error.. PLS.. Help!!!?

Answer»

When i press delete key while booting, i GO to the bios screen... the PROBLEM is when i go to the computer health section of the bios, the temperature of my processor shows -128degree Celsius / -178 degree Fahrenheit.... it suppose to be not negative..it must be 30 to 50 degree Celsius...
how can i fix this problem? pls help

Motherboard: ECS
Model: socket 775 945GCT-M2 /1333 V1.0A
The Intel CPU has a built-in heat sensor. Additionally, a motherboard may have other sensors to indicate temperature in other areas.
Now I am not sure of this, I think the abnormally negative reading happens with the senor is DISCONNECTED. But it is hard to understand how that could happen. The sensor is on-chip, not on the motherboard.

But if the BIOS is bad, you would think the system would not work. Time to do some research. See you later.try to reset your bios.
hope this would help.. A documented bug. First time I heard of it but I don't know everything. It is, indeed, a BIOS issue.
ECS has other motherboards in the series with this same problem. Your mobo is ECS 945GCT-M2 /1333 V1.0A
Here is a page that offers a list of fixs for this know issue.
I can not see if it covers yours. Check the number again

There is some talk about a human error in firmware design of temperature sensor algorithmic using 16 bit math. But you don't want to hear that kind of stuff, you just want to fix it. -Right?
EDIT: Do not down load the patches unless you trust that site. The PATCH is available elsewhere. You could use another software to check your temps. within windows by downloading and installing it to cross-reference the readings. Use SIW or CPUID HWMonitor.
