Answer» What is the BENEFIT of BIOS update. I have intel 845 GVSR motherboard which supports 333 MHz DDR RAM. If I install 400 MHz RAM, my motherboard will not support it. I want to know if I update my BIOS then motherboard will support 400 MHz RAM or not? THanksThis would only apply if the manufacturer wrote a specific BIOS update to make this happen. And since RAM is architecture-based hardware i doubt a BIOS flash could do this. Provide a LINK to the BIOS update itself and we'll have a read... p.s.
