Those are my specs, and here is my problem... I just built this rig yesterday, and i've configured everything and INSTALLED the newest drivers. Everything seems to post just fine, only after the Logo splash screen, it continues to go to the BIOS setup screen,(PRESS F1 to cont. or DEL to enter setup). From my experience, I thought it should then go straight to Windows. If someone is willing to help me out here and sort of walk me through this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. If the Windows drive is from another BUILD it will not boot properly...
Repair install of XP
Read it thoroughly before starting paying special attention to the warnings. And print out a copy for reference. If done properly XP will boot and all your Programs and data will be intact. You will of course have to install your drivers afterwards...MBoard drivers should be first.Everything on the specified system is brand new. At least it better be.
So would the same solution be APPLICABLE? If so, is do you know if its the same for Vista?
