Answer» Hi, My monitor suddenly developed a black border (about half an inch) all the way around it. I played with all the features in the settings, display menu to no avail. I can reduce the black border but never make it go away completely. I plugged in a DIFFERENT monitor which has no border, but the border appears when using this hard drive. This is very odd. This pushed some of my desktop icons half off the page... HELP.one last thing... it seems that something has changed in my internet settings - they went back to default from years ago. how do I get back my most recent connections? (e.g., when I click on internet explorer it PROMPTS me for dial up, but I have cable. and the cable SETTING is now erased completely)You might be using resolutions that the monitor does not support. When a monitor its resolution has been changed, it is possible that you have to use the monitor controls to re-adjust the screen and eliminate the black border.What operating system is used>>make model of pc/and monitor.......

I was refering to videocard drivers.
