Answer» I am TRYING to scan a document on my HP F2430 all in one. Each time I scan this weird black line appears. When I print directly from the file in my computer the line does not appear, it is only when I scan the document. I have altered the scan settings many different times but still there is this weird line. usually vertical on the left hand margin. But like I said not when I print from a document on file. ANYONE have any ideas?Clean/replace the print heads...You mean a failure of the scanner. Right? Not the printer. The lamp array in the scanner is BAD or has COME loose.
