Here is another BLANK monitor issue.

I turn on the computer and monitor the light on the monitor goes green for about 5 seconds then yellow. Screen is black the ENTIRE time. I switched monitors same thing. I also disconnected the monitor (both of them) and GOT the message "monitor is working".

Since I can not get the monitor to work here is all I can PROVIDE regarding the specs.

Computer: Compaq Presario
Graphics: Radeon XPress 1100
Monitor: FS7600e
Processor: Intel Celeron D 356
HD: 120 GB
RAM: 512 MB
OS: Vista
Model is: SR2150NX

I was actually doing a system restore. The system was working on its own restoring. I was not changing any settings.

Is this a video card issue? Any way to confirm?

Did you try to boot to Safe Mode?I can not see anything on the screen to boot in safe mode.Did you try another monitor, or THIS monitor with another computer?If you have tried 2 different monitors already and your sure the computer is actually booting up I WOULD spend $20 on a video card.I have tried a second monitor, same result. I also disconnected each monitor and received a "Monitor Working" message on the screen.It looks like you need new video card then.
