Solve : Blurring of images?

Answer»

My system was working fine until my ATI Xstasy 9200 SE graphics card stopped sending information to the monitor.
I re-installed my old Nvidia GEFORCE 2 MX/MX 400 video card. Everything works but there is a blurred area to the right of all images. I went to Nvidia and downloaded their GeForce driver package(ac97via.sys). But I don't know if it works with my old, old card.

(Monitor worked fine on and old, old Presario I have)Check the Windows Catalog to see if your video card is compatible with Windows XP:

If it is not, and the manufacturer has no Windows XP drivers, then consider purchasing a new video card.I think the Geforce 2 is faulty.

If the monitor is working fine, then th graphics card is obviously the problem. One can has DIED on u, another.. an even older one is just faulty.

I doubt that its not compatible with XP. My Voodoo 3 worked with XP.

Buy the cheapest card u can afford that will fit in ur system. I dont assume u can/want to buy a better card if ur using a 9250.
