1.	Solve : Boot Freeze?
Answer» Last night our lights dimmed and my pc rebooted. I don't have a UPS yet. During reboot the pc freezes before it gets to POST. I get the screen that tells me what keys to enter BIOS etc but the POST will not start. I TRIED to put in a Windows XP CD and see if it will boot on CD and nothing happens, same with FLOPPY. Everything inside the case looks fine. I made sure the RAM was seated ok and checked cable connections and all seems ok. Can someone help me? Thanks MarkYou need to enter setup on boot and set the CDROM as the FIRST boot device. Then re-boot with the XP CD in. When it starts press R to load the Recovery Console. Then use fixboot and you should be good to go.
