Solve : BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+AlT+Del? |
|
Answer» I just built this system and am trying to install windows 7 64bit. However everytime I go to boot the computer up is reads BOOTMGR is missing Press Ctrl+AlT+Del..When I do that nothing happens. I shut down computer and then set FIRST boot as Cdrom, it reads boot from cd,press any key to boot from cd or DVD, but when I do this I'm back to square one because it then read BBOOTMGR is missing press Ctrl+Alt+Dell. Then it's not booting to the cd QUOTE from: Allan on September 14, 2010, 04:01:42 PM Then it's not booting to the cd I know that, but why not? And why does Ctrl +Alt+Del do nothing? The keyboard works when i press f12 to go into the boot menu.Is the Windows disc an original retail version? I have windows 7 ultimate and have tried to boot from both windows 64bit and windows 32bit. They are both on seperate disks.Perhaps there's a problem with the optical drive. These issues are sometimes very difficult to diagnose long distance. Quote from: Allan on September 14, 2010, 04:24:31 PM Perhaps there's a problem with the optical drive.
