Answer» ok well i bought new parts from a store near me, the parts were designed specifically for gaming and dvd's. my system is as FOLLOWED;
Motherboard: LanParty DK 790FX series CPU : AMD Atlon 64x2 duel core processor 5600+ 2.90 GHZ Ram: 4g of Corsair ddr2 ram Graphics: MSI Raedon 4850 Western digital 160g IDE Hardisc HP Dvdl1035 DVD drive Operating system: WINDOWS xp Sp3
ok so the problem is that windows boots really SLOWLY and software E.g games take for ever to install, the desktop is really slow and can only support a couple of programes at a TIME, where as my old system : P4, AGP graphics and 2g of ram had no problems at all, i know this is not a PSU issue as my mate has pretty much ths same system and his runs with no problems at all. also what really blows my mind with this problem is that once the game/programme is installed it runs fine.(not the computer, the game) e.g last night i was playing Guild wars and there was not lag (except for the occasional internet lag) so im am really confused and would really like some help
