Answer» What is it for and why do we have to reset it each day?
This whole week, every morning when we get to work, we are unable to get onto the internet until we unplug the Netopia Broadband Gateway and plug it back in. Any ideas on why this could be happening?
Please help...Contact your ISP.How is the system SHUTDOWN!It is left on at all times.you are probably not getting the DNS address updated, and when you restart your router this is done through the router START SEQUENCE, CHECK with your isp in case they have changed there DNS address listing or dynamic to FIXED addresses.Replace the router, it is failing. I have had this happen at work and at home on 2 different routers and the replacement routers have been okay.Thank you all so very much for your help.
