I installed a FIREWIRE pci card in my recording studio PC. I found that it made my wireless networking card not work, so I figured I had an IRQ error. I uninstalled the pci wireless card and installed a USB wireless adaptor. Upon REBOOTING the PC, the USB adaptor connects to my network, then I get the Blue SCREEN of Death. tcpip.sys is where the problem is apparently.
i tried RESETTING the tcpip.sys via NETSH in a dos prompt and it didnt fix a thing
any suggestions?Are you using the latest original drivers available?Original drivers for each piece, the Firewire card and the USB Adaptor.
