Answer» Here's an odd question I was ASKED today that I just didn't know the answer to:
"Is it possible to modify the hardware or change the driver for an older Sony Memory Stick reader so it will read the newer Pro and Pro Duo versions?"
My guess is no, but I said I'd look into it. I guess they have an older Sony laptop with a built in card reader, but a newer Sony camera. ANYONE have any thoughts on this?Unless they have released a firmware FLASH for that UNIT i doubt this is possible...

Sometimes a quick e-mail to tech support for issues like this are quicker than searching for hours...Yeah, I was searching around but it's hard to word it right and find what I'm looking for.
I hadn't thought about e-mailing them, I might RECOMMEND he do that (or I might just do it myself). I do agree with you though, I doubt it's possible.
