Solve : buying RAM?

Answer»

I know what type of ram i need and i nkwo what size my motherboard can SUPPORT apart from those two factors is there any other considerantion when buying ram?
e.g. speed does it matter? non-ecc??? brand?Speed, ECC/non-ECC, buffered/unbuffered are also considerations.
Brand isn't generally important, but it's best to match all the RAM modules.
Your motherboard manufacturer will have info on what will work in your board.Follow the below link and run the scan. It will tell you what kind of ram you can use.

OK, for customer support and warranty, I'd AGREE, the brand is important. I obviously wasn't thinking clearly when I wrote that.
