Answer» Hi, writing from Africa, where not much help available! My small DVD player XORO was working fine for several months, but over the last days it SEEMS to be damaging my brandnwe DVDs. In 3 cases, the DVD stopped playing after ca 1 HOUR, and whan analysing the DVD, they all have what looks liks circular SCRATCHES at the OUTER fringe. Did NOT have this before, as I checked them now closely. The DVD player also seems to be getting very hot. May this be the SOURCE of the problem, and what to do? Thanks a mil, dummie from Tanzania Sounds like the DVD player is faulty? Do you have access to another player that you can try?
