Answer» Can i boot from E:\? (USB REMOVABLE DEVICE) the only boot sequence options I have are: 1. DISKETTE drive 2. IDE CD-rom device 3. Hard Drive 4. Integrated NIC
if not, is there another way of making my computer try to boot from E:\ and if it fails, move on to A:\ and then the hard drive and CD-rom? thanksUnless you have an option that says Boot from removable media, your BIOS may not support booting from removable media. Thanks for your reply, but i couldnt see that option. I dont KNOW if you have an autoexec.bat file on xp, but couldn't I do somethng to that to make it automatically try to boot form E:\? if there is I would need someone to TELL me what to put though.http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/device/storage/usb-boot.mspx
