Solve : Can I upgrade my motherboard without changing my processor?? |
|
Answer» I am using an ASUS motherboard. The problem is when I installed the Windows XP SP 2, I cannot FIND a compatible USB 2.0 driver for it. The CD that come with the motherboard have only an USB driver compatible with Windows 98 and ME. I can't find a driver for my motherboard that is compatible with Windows XP. I am thinking of upgrading my motherboard to a new ones. I am using a Intel P4 processor. Can I upgrade the motherboard that is compatible with my processor and use my old processor in it? Or I also have to upgrade or replace my processor with a new ones? What model of motherboard do you have?Knowing that you have an Asus board is not enough, it's like saying you have a Ford car and asking the mechanic to give you the right parts without even seeing it.I have a Toyota...i've been spam warned for less wait..
