Answer» HI All,
I want to know if I can use SSD drive on a very old laptop (Dell Precision M65). Please advise. Thanks in ADVANCE. Based on what I FOUND here: https://www.newegg.com/p/1TS-000A-021K4?item=9SIAA655VR8390&source=region&nm_mc=knc-googlemkp-pc&cm_mmc=knc-googlemkp-pc-_-pla-aventis+systems-_-notebooks-_-9SIAA655VR8390&gclsrc=aw.ds&&gclid=Cj0KCQjwhJrqBRDZARIsALhp1WTCCkCNwLL8adyCJ3Td0riWcNyiXh9OkuXafgHUZIQFDyB4UO49jE0aArVDEALw_wcB. Assuming you have the same laptop, then yes, you could upgrade it with an SSD. If a laptop has a 2.5 inch SATA drive bay, you can put an SSD in there to replace a mechanical spinning HD. Crucial says: "Compatible SSD for Dell Precision M65: Crucial BX500 960GB 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch SSD".
