I'm looking to build my own computer, I have a list going here and I need another set of eyes to see if I need anything else or if this list wont work because of the compatibility.

Did you use the Power Supply calculator on Newegg? Gives you a rough estimate of your power needs (at full load, to be safe).
I didn't really pay attention, but make sure you get a power supply rated high enough to handle anything you put in it (or intend to in the future).

Make sure you get a 64-bit version of Windows 7 (or Linux distro if you're like me) if you intend to use 8 GB of memory.

Example: Think of a pipe. If that pipe merges into a smaller pipe, the water can only go out so fast, RIGHT?

It's the same with computers. If you have a super fast processor, but slow as molasses memory, the processor cannot RUN at full potential because it has to wait for the slower memory to catch up. Now this doesn't just apply to a CPU and memory, it can apply to almost anything. There's no sense in putting a top of the line video card (or anything else), in your computer if it can't handle it.
