Solve : Can some suggest a video card compatible with my motherboard??

Answer»

As of now im stuck with an nVidia 6150se that came on board with my Foxconn M61PMV series motherboard. I'd like to upgrade to a 9800 or an 8800, as I use it most for gaming, but there are so MANY different video cards that say 9800/8800 on them, like a BFG, Galaxy, Asus, etc. and I just need to know what will work with my computer. If you need more specs, just ask.At the very least, you should be AWARE that the CURRENT PCIe x16 slot on your board is PCI express version 1.0, not the latest 2.0 standard which supports more bandwidth. So when you decide on how much you want to spend, keep in mind that you may SAVE some money by purchasing a card designed to use the 1.0 standard (not the 2.0 standard). If you purchased a card designed to take advantage of 2.0 architecture, it will still work in your x16 slot, but the data throughput will not be OPTIMIZED. So if you have to decide between two cards that are the same with the exception of the bandwidth standard (1.0 or 2.0), a 1.0 card might be cheaper.
