Answer» The screen on my laptop has been broken for awhile now and I've been ABLE to keep using it by connecting it to my TV with an hdmi cable. Recently I updated the display drivers on it and now I can't get it to connect with my TV or computer monitor. fn+f4 isn't working. When i unplug and replug in the cable on either end the TV flashes to display from the laptop than goes back to no signal. The laptop is an hp pavilion DV6 with windows 7. I don't REMEMBER the other specs and can't pull them up because I can't see anything. The TV is a westinghouse and there is also a phillips in my house that I get the same results from. Any HELP would be greatly appreciated.Connect to VGA INSTEAD of HDMI. When you updated the drivers, it probably switched it over.
