Solve : Can't Degauss? |

Answer» Several days ago, my CrystalScan 1572DG MONITOR gained a slight blue tint on-screen, which has progressed to the point where red is virtually black. I think it needs to be degaussed, but I have no idea how to do that with this machine.There should be a degauss button on the monitor or a way to select it in the OSD (On Screen Display).The only buttons on this monitor adjust screen display (HORIZONTAL, vertical, width).Leave monitor ......disconnect from the pc.....and unplug it from the mains supply......for a couple of days......and never have the moblie phone or SPEAKERS next to it.....or any other magnetic force....... I unplugged the monitor, as you directed, and left it in that state for two days. I then plugged it back in and STARTED it back up. It didn't work. I still have the annoying blue haze over everything on-screen. |
