Answer» I have several devices that I want to hook up to 2 PCs that are a few feet apart. I RATHER not get into HOME networking because it seems rather hard and I don't think all of my devices would be compatible. So can you share them or would I have to plug the hub into the computer I wish to use every time?USB only supports 1 host per device. there is no way to connect a USB device to two computers simultaneously.ok thanksThough you CAN buy some little USB devices that ACT like a network...still just like building a network though lol. You might want to reconsider, networking is easy and all you would need at this point is a crossover calbe of 2 meters, which is around about $5 NZ Dollars so ~ $7-$8 US dollarsI want to share a scanner, a PRINTER, and a backup hard drive, maybe more in the future.
