Solve : cannot burn a dvd? |
|
Answer» I installed a pioneer dvd-rw DVR-111D in my computer. It didn't come with a driver so I downloaded it and it is in my device manager. When I try to copy a video file from my hard drive to the burner, I GET d:drive is inaccessible error. Also, when I insert a dvd-r disc into the player, the d:drive icon in My Computer changes from "dvd-r" to "cd". THANKS for any help! What DVD burning software are you using? I downloaded it and it is in my device managerYou mean, your DVD drive is listed in Device Manager without any errors? Thanks for the replies. I am using Windows XP home; does this not have the software I need for burning dvds?, or do I need additional software. The dvd driver for this burner is in the device manager. under properties it says this device is working properly. Am I overlooking SOMETHING simple? Thanks again for the help!Windows will not burn DVD's....try CDBurnerXP PRO for FREE. p.s. Burners and optical drives do not need DRIVERS for anything Windows Win2k and beyond... |
