Solve : Cannot find newly installed SATA HDD? |
|
Answer» Basically what it said on the opening message, HOPING to make the switch up to a SATA HDD, but got it all connected, "felt ACTION inside the drive" so I know its working, but alas, nowt. Any ideas? Drivers for a hard drive?? I've never heard of such a thing... windows should automatically pick it up. Do you have any SATA HDD's currently installed in your machine ? ? Have you installed any ? ?A HDD that is detected in Setup won't be recognised by Windows until it is properly partitioned and formatted...and if it's a SATA drive it most times needs drivers. If you have issues with the advice i GIVE we'll discuss it through other channels...this is not the first time |
