Answer» Hi guys minor problem after upgrading to the new windows 10 after SHUTTING down the built in card reader power lights remain on (everything ELSE has powered off ok) card reader works fine just won't turn itself off. Not a huge problem I know merely curious as it never did this before upgrade any THOUGHTS Sounds like the USB power at rest is enabled. This is to allow for your system to be ABLE to charge USB devices when computer is off. This will not hurt ANYTHING, but I believe this is your issue. My Toshiba Netbook came bundled with a feature like this that I can enable/disable through software.yes probably that's what it is. any particular software come to mind |
