Answer» Umm... My CD Drive will not OPEN and it will not read the disc that is stuck in there. Putting the paperclip in the hole does not work. Can someone help me (again)? Thanks. shutdown pc ........and restart it.....now see if the disk will eject........ you may have a damged cd disk.....No, I tried that and it didn't work. And the CD works fine in my other COMPUTER... so... any ideas??maybe the drive needs cleaning.......you may have to force the DRAWER open........try the paper clip again.....I did manage to GET the drive open by forcing it with the paper clip... but how do I clean a drive? I've never done that before...
