Quote it said Web page is not available :-/ You copy entire link to browser, not just click on it jjjjj......Here's what I would try ....SHUT down your pc ..... open it up and physically remove the IDE ( flat ribbon cable ) from the back of the cd drive .........now reboot you pc .......let it load completely and then shut it down again. Now plug the IDE cable back into the rear of the cd drive and also check to be sure the other end of the IDE cable is FIRMLY PLUGGED into the motherboard ........ Now close up the case and start up again.....you should see the message Windows has detected new hardware. Then in a few seconds you will see a message which will say .......new hardware has been successfully installed . Now it should show up in My Computer and should work. dl65

I don't think I have added any new progrram or device or anything. but i dont know when the CD drive disspeared because i dont use them that much and one day i just tried to put run a CD and it didnt work.

You copy entire link to browser, not just click on it jjjjj......Here's what I would try ....SHUT down your pc .....
open it up and physically remove the IDE ( flat ribbon cable ) from the back of the cd drive .........now reboot you pc .......let it load completely and then shut it down again.
