Solve : CD Drive not reading? |

Answer» I have a compaq nx625 running windows xp. Its running SLUGGISH and I'm trying to reinstall windows on it with no luck. I tried making my computer boot from the CD and it kept turning on and off. I then TOOK the disk out it started up OK I tried a music CD it didn't read it. I checked and its reading the CD drive in the computer. Any idea what I could do to fix this problem?Borrow another OPTICAL drive and swap it in there...you'll know right away if it needs replaced...which it probably does... |
