Answer» If it's a HP computer and still under warranty, phone them up and tell them what's happened, they should happily fix it for you.I do have restore points, I do have a few install CDs, It is an HP Pavilion RUNNING XP SP2, I'm unsure if it has a warranty on it at all, much less if it still WOULD be under warranty, I've had to open it up to fix a cable on the hard DRIVE before... I could ask the GUY who bought it, see if he got the warranty... Void
