Solve : CD Drive wont read CD-RW discs?

1.	Solve : CD Drive wont read CD-RW discs?
Answer» I have an ASUS CD-S520/A5 (ASUS 52X CD-ROM) drive that reads commercial CD's fine (Quickbooks, etc) but wont READ blank CD-RW's right out of the box. The guy I bought the computer from said I had the right HARDWARE. Did I get HOODWINKED? Thanks. New to the site. RickWell you might FIND blank CD-RW's will have Little USE in a CD Rom Drive The drive you have there cant write to any kind of disk, its Read only.My jaw is on the floor at the moment. What would you expect to read off a BLANK CD-RW? :-?
