Answer» I have a Gateway MX6421. The CD/DVD door will not EJECT. I tried pressing the BUTTON and using the control panel to OPEN, neither work. Anyone know an easy fix, or does it need to be sent out for repair?There should be a little hole in the front of the cd drive. Insert a PAPER clip into that hole and push until the cd door opensOk, I will TRY that when I get home... you can also open by using a screwdriver or something else that's pretty thin.I would not on any of my machines.His advice so far in any topic can be safely ignored... |
