Answer» i have a dvd-rom/cd WRITER. id like to ask what's wrong with my DEVICE. The PROBLEM is that, whenever i load new cd/dvd disk, at first it will read but later on it can hardly read again. Why is that so?Its possible that the optic [laser] needs cleaning.How old is the drive. Do you have another to test with?How am i going to clean the laser?Is there a need for me to OPEN it or just disc cleaner? It works the same.Try the device in another machine...if it does the same thing it needs replaced. |
