Answer» I just bought a CD reader writer and installed it on my GATEWAY computer I have windows 2000 as my programs It plays the Cd's fine but I cannot GET it to write a CD is there a program I have to down load to make it work? I'm just now learning how to upgrade my computer so I'm no rocket scientist when it comes to fixing problems. No one I know has any computer savvy I live on a FIXED BUDGET (I'm disabled) so I cannot run to the computer shop and they all want a boat load of money even for the advice I need. Any help would be great Thanks in advance.You could DLoad a FREE program for this called CDBurnerXPro...works great.
