Answer» Okay, thank you, I will give that a try but to be honest although I don't know anything about computers I feel the odds of that being the cause quite slim compared to it being a hardware (software?) problem giving that they were both working fine before I upgraded. But then I could be totally WRONG!Is it only audio CDS they wont play? What program are you using to play the CDs?Hiya, Yes, only audio CD's won't play. It doesn't do anything...it doesn't acknowledge the cd being there.I'm confused here, so just to clear one thing up. Can you tell me is this a cdrom drive or a dvd drive we are talking about here? Does it say its a dvd rw on the front of the drive. Also is it only music cd that don't work. Software disks work fine do they?
