Solve : CD-ROM drive problems?

Answer» I can't save documents to my d-drive. What software or what hardware do I need to download or install? I can view things from the d-drive and download from the d- drive, I just can't download to it. I have a Windows Millennuim Edition E-machines computer. D-drive is the CD-ROM. I can not figure out how to change the read only memory to write to it. I can on the other computer in the house. It is a GATEWAY Millennium Edition. It uses Adaptec CD wizard to write to the D-drive. Mine has nothing. Help The reason I am not using the correct jargon is I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS!!!!!! IF I KNEW THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE THE PROBLEM & I COULD FIX IT MYSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Some details would be required like what is the D Drive? Another hard drive? Actually any information at all about your system would be required. See below.Download from D-drive? Unless it is a network drive, you're using the wrong jargon. Please correct your message. I believe there is a good CHANCE that the drive D: in question is just a cd-rom.......and is not able to be written to ........ the drive would have to be a cd-rw to do this.
