when i click on my computer icon my cd rom does not show it only shows a and c drive what is wrong and how can i fix this problem I had that same problem, check your cable or power cord going to it first, could be loose or have a short in them...then reboot your computeri checked the cables and they are CONNECTED properly they have NEVER been taken loose what else can i doGo into the device manager, and see if it is detected there... Also, which operating system are you using? Have you scanned for viruses?
