Answer» Ok Here is a brain buster for you all. I have a cd/dvd ROM that will only play a cd if it is burnt. It will play AUDIO or a program cd ( ie a video game cd) if it is not the ORIGINAL cd. Otherwise it won't even read the cd. Any advice will be helpfulIt might be time to look for a new DRIVE then... how old is it?A decent drive can be bought from Newegg for about $40, including SHIPPING.
